I'm going to be going to a pre-appointment on Thursday morning to determine whether or not I'm a candidate for LASIK. If I am, I am going to get it done as soon as possible! I would really like to get it done before I start biking to work again when the temps get cooler. I would also love it because I would no longer have to wear glasses when I climb, when I swim, when I bike.
I admit that the potenital side effect of blindness is a bit scary, but I've talked to so many people of so many different ages that completely loved it that I feel pretty good about it. I'll let you all know what the doc says after Thursday's appointment!
I'm eager to learn more, plain and simple. There are so many aspects of this world that I have no clue about, but am ready and willing to discover. In the meantime, I am enjoying my experiences and finding humor in almost everything I do (yep, I giggle a lot). This blog is a little slice of my twisted sense of humor and varied interests.
