It's spring! It's spring!

Plants are popping up everywhere!

While I've had a lot of late nights at work lately and Chris has been traveling a lot, I've had time to take Conner to a local dog park and to an indoor doggy playtime (yep, they have parks and play-times just like they do for little kids!). I really liked walking around the dog park with Conner.  Being the good beagle he is, he sniffed everything, starting by the following the fence lines.  He ran around with some of the dogs, but was most interested in sniffing the ground for signs of bunnies and making sure he knew where I was.  He is a bit of an unusual beagle in that he has mostly listened to me whenever I've called him.  He almost slipped under a gate at the park, but I called him immediately, and he stopped and came to me.  Crazy right?

Conner is enjoying our company...most of the time :)  He's not a huge fan of having me put a toy squirrel house on his head, but I honestly couldn't resist.  He looks like an Ewok!

 

He gets some down time from being tortured too (and yes, in the second photo, he is laying on a pile of his toys):
